Our small ship the 95' Glacier Bear is an extremely well-appointed luxury vessel with an unparalleled captain and crew.  Captain Neil Nickerson has been working Alaskan waters since 1988, as a U.S. Coast Guard officer aboard Coast Guard cutters and passenger ferries. He is intimately familiar with the waters of Alaska's Inside Passage.

Southeast Alaska is truly a wildlife mecca.  It's nutrient rich waters attract hundreds of Humpback Whales each summer as well as millions of salmon to spawn in the countless pristine mountain streams.  Seals, sea lions, porpoise, otters, eagles, orcas and bears!  You name it and we are likely to see it on this trip.  

All this in addition to the incredibly precipitous mountains, thundering blue glaciers, rushing waterfalls and lush temperate rainforest, there are few places on earth that can come close to matching this truly magical environment.
