Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive to Punta Arenas, Chile and transfer the Estancia Laguna Amarga which borders Torres del Paine National Park. Evening orientation meeting followed by dinner.

Day 2-5: We will spend 4-full days accompanied by a professional Puma tracker/guide on a private estancia bordering the national park where at least 11 approachable pumas have been identified. A typical day involves a pre-dawn departure to one of any number of locations within the estancia where we anticipate finding the pumas. Mid-day we will return to the estancia for lunch and a siesta. We will again depart in the late afternoon to another destination or, perhaps return to where we were in the AM. At sundown we will return to the Estancia for dinner and then it’s off to bed so we can do it all over again the next day!

Day 6: Following breakfast we will venture into the national park for some scenic photography and then continue on to Puerto Natales for the opportunity to photograph the elegant Black-necked Swans. At this time of year we hope to find some Swans with their newborn cygnets riding on the adult’s backs. Overnight at an innovative boutique hotel overlooking the Last Hope Sound. Farewell dinner in the evening

Day 7: Transfer to Punta Arenas airport for your flight home or to connect with another leg of your excursion.
