This special tour combines two of the Southern Hemispheres' most incredible locations for both scenic and wildlife photography, Torres del Paine National Park and The Falkland Islands. These dates were specifically chosen to coincide with the height of springtime offering unsurpassed wildlife opportunities when most birds and mammals will be actively breeding or with small newborns. Blooming shrubs and wildflowers will also be in abundance offering a special accent to the surreal Patagonian landscape. The Falklands are a wildlife mecca and the primary focus will be on Penguins (5 species: King, Gentoo, Rock Hopper, Magellanic and occasionally Macaroni). Hundreds of Black-browed Albatross will be on the nest and we will also see dozens of other bird species, several endemic to the islands, in addition to sea lions, elephants seals, porpoise and other sea mammals. The wildlife in the Falklands is surprisingly approachable and, if one sits quiet, many species will often come to you!
